About the Program
Youth Empowerment & Training Strategies (YETS) is a comprehensive, three-track program designed to serve young people at every stage of life — from pre-kindergarten through young adulthood. We believe no child should fall through the cracks, and no young adult should be left without a path forward simply because of financial hardship or academic setbacks.
YETS meets young people exactly where they are. Whether a child needs real-world life skills, a student needs academic support to get back on track, or a young adult needs a bridge to college or trade school — YETS provides the mentorship, resources, and faith-centered guidance to make it happen.
In 2026 and beyond, young people will enter a world being reshaped by artificial intelligence, digital technology, and rapidly changing industries. YETS prepares them for that world — not just with academic skills, but with digital literacy, AI awareness, entrepreneurial thinking, financial knowledge, and the character and resilience to thrive in any environment.

Serving: High school graduates living at or below the poverty line
For young adults who have finished high school but lack the finances or grades to enter college or trade school — and want to live on campus — YETS steps in to bridge the gap and prepare them for the careers of 2026 and beyond.
Serving: Students who are slipping through the cracks
For students who are struggling academically or personally, YETS provides targeted support, real-world life skills, digital readiness, and individualized attention based on each student's needs.
Serving: Children from pre-kindergarten through high school
Starting from the earliest years, YETS teaches children the foundational life skills they need to grow into capable, responsible, and compassionate adults — ready for the world of 2026 and beyond.

Tutoring, grade-level shadowing, academic remediation, college preparation, trade school pathway support, and connections to high-demand careers — so no student is left behind due to grades, finances, or access.
